As others have mentioned, it is expensive, and I haven't been using long enough to really kick the tyres.īut, so far, what I really like about it is it bridges the gaps between creating tasks and allocating time. I never really found a good fix for that, other than separately listing out projects and tasks (on todoist) and then needing to go to the calendar to budget time. Where I find the most friction is between Todoist and Gcal, because there is the clearest relationship between "needing to do stuff" and budgeting the time to do it. ![]() Todoist is to keep track of stuff I need to do and, frankly, to give that little dopamine kick of clicking done of something. Notion is a sort of disembodied second brain. I think about the 3 as having quite distinct functions.
